In 2011 we had no work for the crafters, so we approached Green office to make a suit for them to display at COP 17 , we enlisted the expertise of Terence Bray (we are gazartists at heart) who made the pattern for us, and we used 42 ladies to bead messages around our environment into the suit. It become the COP 17 mascot. It is the first fully beaded suit. It was also a project we were desperate to excecute for many years, our inspiration being traditional beaded ceremonial wedding waistcoats. It was a very difficult project to execute as every panel had to be hand stitched together there were about 600 pieces had to be put together like a giant jig- saw puzzle – a true labour of love.
