Investing in our communities for social and economic transformation

The aim of HACT’s Izingadi Zethemba “Gardens of Hope” Plant Nursery is twofold;

  • To provide skills training, food security and sustainable job opportunities for local people living in disadvantaged communities who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS
  • To contribute to the long-term sustainability of HACT, by generating proceeds that are channelled back directly into the organisation’s non-profit projects and services.

In addition to selling a wide variety of both indigenous and exotic plants and garden decor direct to the public, we offer professional and affordable landscaping services for local residential and commercial properties and office parks.

As a B-BBEE level 1 enterprise, our Plant Nursery’s corporate partners and donors can receive maximum skills development, enterprise development or procurement points towards their B-BBEE scorecard while helping HACT to create brighter futures for local people impacted by HIV/AIDS.

My job helps me feed my family. I’m proud to work in HACT’s Plant Nursery and be part of something that helps my community…
