HACT delivers age-appropriate, evidence-based programmes proven to reduce new HIV infections as well as inspire and mobilize healthy living advocates. HACT recognises that women and young girls are particularly vulnerable, which is why many of our programmes are tailor made to address their unique needs and challenges.
Through the passion and expertise of our specially trained facilitators or “coaches” our dynamic Goals 4 Life project provides life skills and HIV education as well as access to HIV testing, counselling and support services to vulnerable children and young people and their families.
By leveraging the power of positive role modelling, HACT’s Peer Education programme nurtures and inspires young leaders within rural high schools to reach their full potential while spearheading positive change in social attitudes and behaviour amongst their peers and communities.
“Give young people a voice…they are the future and much wiser
than we give them credit for.”
