What Is Litres For Education?

Litres for Education is a South African fundraising campaign that enables people to support local schools and Non-Profit organisations such as HACT whenever they fill up their vehicle at a participating service station. For every litre of fuel you purchase, that service station will donate 10c to your selected beneficiary.

How Will HACT Use My Litres For Education Donations?

All donations recevied by HACT via the Litres for Education programme will go directly towards providing HIV education and prevention programmes to children and young people in the Valley of 1000 Hills region of KwaZulu-Natal.

How Do I Join?

It’s quick and easy to join, simply follow these 3 steps:

  1. Print a Litres for Education Donor Disc and display it in your vehicle.
(Click here for a copy of HACT’s Donor Disc or pop into HACT and collect a free Donor Disc from our reception.)
  2. Fill up your vehicle at one of the participating service stations.(The closest particpating service station to the HACT centre is BP Hillcrest located at 42 Old Main Road, Hillcrest or Caltex in Winston Park or Caltex Cotswold. For a full list of the participating service stations in South Africa, please click here.)
  3. Give the Attendent HACT’s unique Beneficiary Reference number (#463) to record in their Litres for Education Register.

(There is no need to provide any of your personal details so it is always safe and hassle-free!)
